Blythe Renay
Blythe Renay is an actor, singer, dancer, and comedian.
It was clear that Blythe was extremely comfortable on stage when she performed in her first dance recital at age 2. She continued her dance training, and soon added singing and acting training to the mix as well. She was 8 year old when she was cast in her first musical, and since then she has performed in over 30 musicals and plays.
Blythe began performing comedy shows at midwest Renaissance Festivals and Comic Conventions in 2008, which led to the formation of a comedy group called The Damsels of Dorkington in 2010. The Damsels perform outrageous, live comedy shows and parody music with a focus on geek-culture at comic conventions. They currently perform every year at Gen Con, bringing their unique mix of high brow references and low brow humor in shows like Hamilthrones that mashes up the hit musical Hamilton with Game of Thrones. And weirdly… it just works!
In recent years, Blythe has discovered a love of voice acting, and has been very lucky to play a number of characters in video games, animation, and audio fiction. You may have heard her voice across multiple video games in the Borderlands franchise (Commander Lilith DLC, Borderlands 3, Moxxi’s Heist DLC, Guns Love & Tentacles DLC, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands). She is also passionate about audio fiction podcasts, and you can hear her as Collette Guise in the Kingmaker Histories, Chatbot in The One Stars, and as a variety of characters in Curious Matter Anthology.
Blythe also performs with Professor Shyguy, providing vocals (and very smooth dance moves) for his nerdy synth/rock music shows at conventions all over the country.
